The Foundations of Sharp HealthCare achieved “High Performer: Overall” status among respondents for the 2021 Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) Report on Giving. AHP recognizes high performance based on organizations that fall within the top 75th percentile in net production returns, calculated by subtracting total fundraising expenses from total production returns.
For fiscal year 2020, being a High Performer in the Overall category means that an organization raised more than $19 million in net production returns amongst all other U.S. respondents.
This is the eighth consecutive year that Sharp has been recognized as an AHP High Performer; one of just a handful of organizations in our peer group to be so named. This is vivid demonstration of success in our strategic approach to philanthropy; the generosity of our partners; and the impact of our Foundations across all of Sharp HealthCare.
The Association for Healthcare Philanthropy is an international professional organization dedicated exclusively to development professionals who encourage charity in North America's health care organizations. AHP's 4,500 members represent more than 2,200 health care facilities around the world.
