Healing through the arts during the COVID -19 pandemic
Arts for Healing touches the lives of thousands of patients and families each year.
Amy Andrews is a board-certified music therapist and expressive arts therapist providing music therapy services across the Sharp Metropolitan Campus through the Arts for Healing program.
Andrews shapes music and arts-based experiences to support patients during difficult times and tailors her services to serve each patient's individual needs, encouraging self-expression and personal reflection. She believes the arts can lead us to a greater understanding of ourselves and our path to wellness.
As a music therapist, Andrews exercises her passion to help patients and families use their natural strengths and resources to support their health.
