Sharp HealthCare offers free support for women with breast cancer. At this bimonthly meeting, women can share their concerns and experiences of living with breast cancer and exchange ideas to discover new coping strategies in a friendly, informational atmosphere.
The support group is open to women in all stages of breast cancer — from recent diagnosis to treatment to cancer survivor — but is not meant for those with metastatic disease.
Registration is required prior to attending.

Parking Information
Park in the Visitor Parking Structure (No. 2). Parking is free for visits under an hour. For one- to four-hour visits, the rate is $3. Fees beyond 4 hours are an additional $2 every 15 minutes with a maximum of $20 a day. A multiday parking pass is available from the parking attendant for $15.
Presenter Information
Marlene Wendel, MA, MSW, is a medical social worker and facilitates the support group that meets at the Sharp Memorial Outpatient Pavilion.
Schedule
This is an open support group for breast cancer patients. Topics vary according to group needs. Speakers such as radiation therapists, lymphedema therapists, nutritionists, etc. are invited from time to time to provide education and answer questions.
