IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal Class

The IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal class is a certification course designed for licensed vocational nurses, surgical techs and registered nurses. It focuses on the legal aspects, theory and practice of IV therapy and blood withdrawal, as well as blood transfusions and total parenteral nutrition. The curriculum is approved by the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT).

Attendees are required to attend all five dates in the class series (36 hours, which includes nine hours for lab work) and participate in group discussions.
