Prenatal Yoga Class for Mom and Partner
Prenatal yoga class for expectant mothers and a partner.
Presented by Sharp Mary Birch Hospital
Prepare your body and mind for an easier labor and recovery period through stretching and strengthening exercises. This class introduces both the expectant mother and her support person to various poses designed to relieve pain and tension through her labor. The support person will also learn hands-on techniques needed to support the laboring mom.
Regular yoga practice can help expectant mothers reduce swelling, back and leg pain and insomnia.
No previous yoga experience is necessary. The first class is free for women at least 12 weeks pregnant and with a doctor's note.
