Asthma Education Program
Adults and children will learn to better control and manage asthma with Sharp's Living Well With Asthma Program.
Presented by Sharp Rees-Stealy
Sharp Weight Management and Health Education's Living Well With Asthma Program is for adults and children who want to learn to better manage and control their asthma.
The adult asthma program teaches participants to identify triggers and warning signs, understand the use and purpose of self-monitoring tools and medications and understand the importance of relaxation, diet and exercise in learning to live well with asthma.
The child asthma program is for children (ages 6 to 12) with asthma. In this activity-oriented program, children learn to apply a decision-making process to managing their asthma, while also working with their parents to control and live with asthma. One or both parents must attend with each child.
This program is currently available only to Sharp Health Plan and Sharp Rees-Stealy members.
