This free support group is for patients with any type of metastatic cancer to share experiences and information with each other. Led by a licensed therapist at Sharp HealthCare who guides this small group through various topics each week. The discussion focuses on the challenges of living with advanced cancer, including purpose, fear, family and transitions.

Cara Allen, MSW, LCSW, OSW-C, is a licensed clinical social worker, certified oncology social worker and licensed therapist at Sharp HealthCare. She is the winner of the Sharp Social Worker of the Year and Sally Breuner Haugh Spirit of Caring awards.
