Mood Disorders Support Group
A free support group open to people with a diagnosed mood disorder like depression or anxiety and their families and friends.

This support group is an open discussion format. You do not need to be a patient or family member of a patient at Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital to attend. This group is for people who have a diagnosis of depression, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder or anxiety and their family and friends.
There is no limit to the number of family and friends who can attend with patient. Family and friends may also attend without the patient.
Parking Information
Parking is available in front of the hospital.
Special Instructions
This group is for adults with mood disorders. In some cases children over 12 years of age are welcome. If you have any questions, please contact us using the email form on this page. We will email you back within two days.

- Understanding symptoms and treatments (emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
- The significance of relationships throughout the course of the illnesses
- Co-occurring diagnoses
- Symptom management
- Identifying triggers of mood episodes
- What individuals can do to help themselves
- What families can do to help
